Meh-tastic
SWAT: Target Liberty is the latest installment in the SWAT franchise, and it brings the tactical police action to the PSP. As a fan of the series, I was excited to try out this portable version. However, I must say that I was quite disappointed with the overall experience.

One of the biggest issues I have with SWAT: Target Liberty is the controls. The PSP's analog stick is not ideal for precise aiming, and this is crucial in a game that requires tactical precision. It often felt clunky and frustrating trying to line up shots accurately, which took away from the immersion and enjoyment of the game.

Another aspect that let me down was the graphics. While I understand that the PSP has its limitations, the visuals in SWAT: Target Liberty were underwhelming even considering those limitations. The environments lacked detail and the character models were stiff and poorly animated. It felt like a step back from the previous games in the series.

In terms of gameplay, SWAT: Target Liberty offers a single-player campaign and a multiplayer mode. The campaign missions are repetitive and lack variety, with predictable enemy AI. The multiplayer mode is a nice addition, but the lack of online play limits its appeal.

On a positive note, the sound design in SWAT: Target Liberty is well done. The weapon sounds are realistic and the ambient noises help to create a tense atmosphere. However, this alone is not enough to redeem the overall experience.

In conclusion, SWAT: Target Liberty falls short of the expectations set by its predecessors. The clunky controls, lackluster graphics, and repetitive gameplay make it hard to recommend. If you're a fan of the SWAT franchise, you may find some enjoyment in this portable version, but overall, there are better options available on the PSP.
