Disjunction is a cyberpunk stealth game developed by Ape Tribe Games. Set in a dystopian future, the game follows three interconnected storylines that revolve around corruption, conspiracy, and personal vendettas. While Disjunction has the potential to be a standout title in the genre, it unfortunately falls short in a few key areas.

One of the highlights of Disjunction is its atmospheric cyberpunk setting. The neon-lit streets, futuristic technology, and gritty environments create an immersive world that truly captures the essence of the genre. The game's pixel art style adds a unique visual flair and the soundtrack complements the setting perfectly.

However, Disjunction's gameplay mechanics leave much to be desired. The stealth mechanics, which are the core of the game, feel clunky and unpolished. The AI is inconsistent, sometimes being too easy to outsmart and other times being frustratingly difficult to avoid. The lack of variety in enemy types and abilities also hampers the gameplay experience.

Another issue with Disjunction is its storytelling. While the game sets up an intriguing premise with its interconnected storylines, the execution falls flat. The dialogue is often clichéd and the characters lack depth, making it difficult to become fully invested in their motivations and struggles.

Despite its flaws, Disjunction does have some redeeming qualities. The level design is well-crafted, offering multiple paths and approaches to each mission. The skill upgrade system allows players to customize their characters and playstyles, adding some depth to the gameplay. Additionally, the game's branching narrative choices provide some replayability, allowing players to experience different outcomes.

In terms of performance, Disjunction runs smoothly with no major technical issues. The controls are responsive, although some players may find it takes time to adjust to the control scheme.

Overall, Disjunction is a promising cyberpunk stealth game that falls short in some key areas. While it excels in creating an atmospheric world and offers some interesting gameplay elements, the clunky stealth mechanics and lackluster storytelling hold it back. With some improvements and polish, Disjunction could become a standout title in the genre.
