Criminal Girls: Invite Only is a game that attempts to bridge the gap between RPG and visual novel genres, but ultimately falls short in both areas. The premise of the game is intriguing - you play as a prison warden tasked with rehabilitating a group of delinquent girls in a mysterious prison. However, the execution of this concept is problematic and uncomfortable.

One of the major issues with Criminal Girls: Invite Only is its portrayal of the female characters. The game sexualizes the girls, presenting them as vulnerable and in need of the player's guidance. The dialogue and character interactions often veer into uncomfortable territory, with frequent instances of sexual innuendo and suggestive content. This objectification of the characters undermines any attempts at character development and leaves a sour taste in the player's mouth.

The gameplay itself is also lacking. The combat system is repetitive and uninspired, with limited options for strategy or meaningful choices. The player must engage in a series of minigames to progress in the game, but these minigames are often frustrating and feel like unnecessary padding to extend the game's length. The lack of depth and variety in gameplay mechanics makes Criminal Girls: Invite Only a monotonous experience.

Visually, the game is unimpressive. The character designs are generic and lack creativity, and the environments are bland and uninspiring. The art style fails to evoke any sense of immersion or excitement, which further contributes to the overall underwhelming nature of the game.

While Criminal Girls: Invite Only may appeal to a niche audience who enjoy the combination of RPG and visual novel elements, it is difficult to recommend due to its uncomfortable and objectifying portrayal of the female characters. The lackluster gameplay and unimpressive visuals only further contribute to the game's unsatisfying experience. It is disappointing to see a game with potential squander it so completely.
